Went to the crematorium again today, just to see the flowers again and to spend a few quiet moments at the last place mum was here on earth. Peaceful up there and the flowers still looked beautiful x

Mum’s service was beautiful, and her afternoon tea was a fitting occasion for mum. She would have loved to see all the family together for her xx And last night mum’s donations to the Macular Society reached £1000! Well done mum xx and thank you to everyone 🙏💜💐

So, back from visiting mum, she looked very peaceful, and it's helped me enormously seeing her dressed and ready for her big day tomorrow. As always I said, sleep well mum, see you tomorrow xx

Going to see mum in the Chapel of Rest this afternoon. She's going to look beautiful in her best clothes. See you soon mum xx

Today was another tough day, but enjoying looking through old photos and building a picture of mum's life before I was born. A life lived well, a life much missed xx
